Equal Pay Day Party

Join Hill City and MomsRising on Equal Pay Day to celebrate our state's recent victory in passing the Equal Pay Opportunity Act and to help build MOMentum on future equal pay laws!

*Free and family friendly* Take a "bite" out of the wage gap with food from Emma's BBQ and ice cream from Molly Moon's. MomsRising will also be taking over Hill City's weekly trivia, enjoying drinks wrapped in equal pay factoid sleeves, and have fun activities going for the kiddos.  Plus 20% of profits will go towards MomsRising to fuel their work to close the pay gap.

Tuesday, April 10th marks Equal Pay Day 2018 -- which represents the number of extra days that women, on average, must work into 2018 in order to earn what white men did in 2017. For women of color, Equal Pay Day occurs even further into the year, as late as November.

All together, the wage gap costs Washington State $18 billion each year. This hurts women, families, and our economy. That's why we're partnering with advocates and local businesses across the country -- including Main Street businesses right here in Washington -- to raise awareness and take action on equal pay.
